Josh Files to Run for OP City Council!

Deciding to run for city council was a heartfelt choice driven by a passion for making a difference. It involved meaningful discussions with my wife, invaluable advice from friends, mentors, and other community leaders, and open conversations with my two children to share the responsibilities and educate them about the candidacy process. Visiting the Johnson County Election Office to submit the official paperwork was a pivotal moment for our family, and it was such a blessing to have them by my side as I filed. This journey has been filled with profound insights into community service, and I hope it will ignite a spark in my children, encouraging them to pursue civic engagement and make a positive difference in the world.
